In a groundbreaking initiative, Gayton McKenzie hosted a Move for Health Programme, where our learners had the rare opportunity to meet Gayton McKenzie personally. During this event, our students were presented with Netball kits and equipment, as well as yoga mats, promoting the importance of health and fitness.

We were also fortunate to receive a Netball kit donation from Applewood Hotel, further enriching our sports equipment resources.

With the support of Ethekwini Movement of Sport, we were able to successfully install rugby poles at our school,

Aquelle generously sponsored us with drinks and water bottles, ensuring that our athletes stay hydrated during training sessions and competitions.

this is our

vision for the future

We believe that through sport, our students will not only improve their athletic capabilities but also grow as individuals. By continuing to focus on discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, we aim to equip our students with the skills they need to excel both on and off the field. Our ultimate goal is to help them pursue careers in professional sports, should they choose that path, or to take the confidence, resilience, and leadership skills they’ve developed through sport into every aspect of their lives.

We are building future generations of professional athletesleaders, and resilient individuals who are capable of achieving anything they set their minds to.

historic moment

In an exciting and groundbreaking moment, our girls made history by attending the Kearsney College Rugby Festival, a well-known event traditionally dominated by boys’ teams. Grosvenor Girls’ High proudly became the first girls’ school to be involved in this prestigious rugby festival, marking an important milestone in the history of women’s sports. We were not just participants; we were trailblazers, and this moment signifies the beginning of more opportunities for women in competitive sports.

Professional Enhancements

Sports Psychology & Well-Being

Considering the mental aspects of sports and personal development, we’ve integrated sports psychology practices into our training sessions to support our athletes’ well-being and mental toughness.

Scholarship & Talent Recognition

As we grow our sports programme, we are working towards establishing scholarship opportunities for outstanding athletes, both for those excelling in school sports and those seeking to pursue professional sporting careers.

Community Engagement & Partnerships

We aim to partner with local sporting organizations, professional clubs, and universities to create opportunities for our students to engage with the broader sporting community.
